Businesses, families and groups across Nottinghamshire are being invited to start planning Christmas early as Nottingham Greyhound Stadium officially launches its 2026 festive programme with an exclusive Festive Showcase Evening on Friday 4th September.
As many businesses begin securing venues for their Christmas celebrations well before the festive season arrives, the showcase offers the perfect opportunity to experience everything Nottingham Greyhound Stadium has to offer before the Christmas fixtures officially get underway on Friday 20th November.
Conveniently located at Colwick Park, just minutes from Nottingham City Centre, Trent Bridge, Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, Holme Pierrepont Country Park and Nottingham Racecourse, the stadium has become one of the region's most distinctive destinations for festive celebrations, combining great food, live entertainment and the excitement of greyhound racing.
Visitors to the showcase evening will enjoy a three-course festive meal, thrilling live greyhound racing, live entertainment from Frank Power, a complimentary glass of mulled wine or mulled cider on arrival and the opportunity to experience the venue before making plans for the festive season.
The event is ideal for businesses looking to organise staff Christmas parties, groups planning festive get-togethers or families and friends searching for something different to celebrate together this winter.
Sarah Newman, Marketing & Communications Manager for ARC Greyhounds, said:
"Christmas planning starts earlier every year, and our Festive Showcase Evening gives people the opportunity to experience exactly what makes Christmas at Nottingham Greyhound Stadium so special.
"We're proud to offer something different for Christmas. Guests can enjoy fantastic festive dining, live entertainment and all the excitement of greyhound racing in one evening. Whether you're organising a company Christmas party, celebrating with friends or planning a family get-together, the showcase gives everyone the chance to experience the atmosphere before the festive season begins."
Following the showcase, Christmas celebrations officially begin on Friday 20th November, with a packed calendar of festive race nights running throughout November and December. Guests can enjoy festive dining, live greyhound racing and a lively party atmosphere, making the stadium an ideal venue for office Christmas parties, client entertaining and festive celebrations with family and friends.
The festive programme also includes the return of the popular Boxing Day race meeting, giving families and racegoers another opportunity to enjoy an exciting day out during the Christmas holidays.
With many businesses now arranging Christmas events earlier than ever before, organisers are encouraging party planners to visit the showcase and secure their preferred dates well in advance. Full details of all events can be locate here.
